What are the best aspects of this product?

Heroku allows you to experience professional production server by using few clicks, you don’t need to be an expert in devops world. What is most important this platform offers wonderful plugins for Database, Cache, Monitorization, emails, SSL and many other. You have great set of documentation so you can easily set up apps in a language that best suits your needs, you are able to tune the memory usage, cover things with some environments, deploy from Dropbox and etc. By using auto-scaling plugin such as HireFire you can manage the apps, thus, you won’t be overwhelmed and it is time-saving strategy.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The price is high especially when you want to use dynos that increases performance and on the other hand decreases response time. We cannot do anything when it goes down. Also if AWS goes down the system goes down too.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Helps me to save time configuring, testing, deploying servers on Digital Ocean or AWS, and I’m more focused on developing app.
