What are the best aspects of this product?
We use SEMrush for SEO purposes, mostly measuring the effect of our keywords on our website's ranking. We get to see separate rankings for every month, and to compare between them when necessary. The tool also offers competitive analysis functions, as for instance comparing our paid keyword list with the ones of our main competitors.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
SEMrush is not intgrated with Google Adwords and Analytics, and I think it doesn't make sense. It prevents us from accessing real-time keyword information on our other accounts. Being more specific, the interface is not exactly the easiest one ever, and I think that less experienced users neglect fabulous features because of it. Even I took my time to discover SEO Ideas and Audit, I had no idea they existed.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
SEMrush is our principal asset for otimizing the search engine and measuring the effect of paid search campaigns. We not only rank much better, but we pull off surprisingly accurate reports, and we save on conversions.
