What are the best aspects of this product?
ServiceNow has a robust analytics tool that provides us with critical insights to streamline our spending efficiency. You must first go through the trouble of loading all the vendor data into the software first; after that, it's smooth sailing.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Our most challenging task so far with this product is loading vendors into the tool. It takes a lot of time and is pretty complicated as well. Although our lack of experience with robust vendor management software is partly to blame, I think it's important that this initial process be less of a hassle. But I think the trouble is worth it, though. Plus, the vendor's support team helps with the loading process, albeit with a fee.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We use it for reviewing or managing vendors, terms, and licenses. We first loaded our months' worth of data into it. We then used its analytical features to shortlist the vendors and licenses we need to renew to maximize our spending efficiency.
