What are the best aspects of this product?
ShipHero is the perfect partner that any 3PL and fulfillment company needs to move towards big success. It has a convenient integration process with professional support along the way. The available API is also great because it works well with shipping services in our nationwide area. Moreover, managing customer processes has become easier for us. The billing processes are adaptable enough because customers can select a choice that fits their needs and preferences. It also lets me offer them a service wherein they can easily invoice their clients. In addition, it is easier for them to make orders and send the packages directly to the sellers. ShipHero also has a dependable inventory management system that is capable of handling bulk orders. That’s why both my English and non-English speaking customers use it to manage their orders. After all, they can conveniently run manual inventory on ShipHero, or with the use of intuitive plugins. Another feature we love about this platform is its reporting and logging functionalities. It makes monitoring of inventory and orders super easy since all changes are recorded accordingly. ShipHero also carries a handy picking and packing system. This makes the process super convenient, as you can select a preferable picking process at a given moment. Choose between picking through order priority or shelf number. It is complemented with a useful picker app for iOS that the staff can use for the job. Noticeably, ShipHero carries a lot of different functions to cover almost all processes in a 3PL and fulfillment business. We have used many other alternatives available, but nothing can match the excellence that ShipHero offers. This is really the platform you need for 3PL and fulfillment success!
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
ShipHero doesn’t feature a management tool for cash on delivery orders. It doesn’t even carry a reporting feature for COD. This pushes us to find some other solution to make a selection of COD and non-COD orders for our clients. We also want a shipment status indicator in the reports. Something that can inform us if a shipment has been completed, if it’s still on the way, or if it has failed.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Managing changes with inventory location are more efficient on ShipHero. We can conveniently receive purchase orders that are sent by 3PL clients to our warehouse. The ShipHero dashboard carries everything that a client may need, such as order management and receiving items among others. This means they do not have to contact us for support every so often.
