What are the best aspects of this product?

Teamcenter is open toolset that enforce some rules and you can customize it in order to fulfil your needs. It offers powerful data management capabilities. Like that there are lot of people who are available for the projects and who are skilled for running this product.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

This tool is open source and it needs strong management in order to work perfectly. In my experience the deployment process is weakness and it needs some improvements. Also, the UI needs some modifications because it looks old-fashioned and it relies on JAVA.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I used more complicated TC programs. But this one offers great tools and helps us to ensure the consistency within an organization for both process and data quality. The ensuring transfer to ERP was 100% successful by following the deployment.
