Teamcenter is wonderful product when it comes to global enterprise

What are the best aspects of this product?

Great solution for supporting user and location growth. It offers multi-CAD support. It started with CAD but it grow into ECM, Manufacturing Data. There are great ERP integrations and Plant Simulation.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The UI is old-fashioned. The other thing that I don’t like is that BMIDE requires downtime and this can be challenging for global environment. It lack integration with Altium. In addition, they could improve the integration of CAD for non-Siemens tools.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We use this product for global design and collaboration. We managed to extend the Teamcenter to manufacturing shop floor.
