What are the best aspects of this product?
We have tried several LMS, and for me, Skilljar stood out for many reasons. Its primary goal is to provide excellent training sessions for onboarding clients. Secondary would be enhancing employee knowledge to improve sales and CSAT scores. To achieve these goals, we normally have to use a different approach, but with the help of Skilljar, we can simplify the process, save time, and get better results. Launching a learning academy sounds like too much work, but with Skilljar, things can be done in a couple of hours. Our specialists can easily schedule online classes and run reports without the need for human or face to face interaction. Even if we do not spend too much time conducting live training, I am proud to say that we can see more positive results in terms of success rates. We are thankful to Skilljar for helping us get to where we are right now. Skilljar staff gives their clients VIP treatment from sales to actual implementation; that is why it is so hard not to fall in love with this platform. Special shoutout to Hannah, who spent a lot of time helping me upgrade our website, and that includes the implementation of Skilljar into our learning program.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I am having some issues in terms of achieving a seamless flow of activities when using Skilljar. There are some things that I cannot achieve using one smooth process. There are moments that I would need to backtrack specific steps to get what I want or need. As a user, there are certain times that I feel frustrated and confused, and I sometimes wonder if I am doing the right thing or not. Skilljar is a user-friendly learning management platform; however, I noticed that its interface looks pretty old or outdated. They can probably find a way to fix this issue to keep their clients interested in online training. What we currently do is create attractive and colorful learning modules and directly upload them into Skilljar. It would be nice if they can develop built-in templates to make our work easier.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
As the company starts to expand, our employees tend to focus on other essential projects. The truth is that we have less time and resources to conduct one on one or personalized training sessions for each of our clients. We tried launching multiple learning sessions to address the issue, but unfortunately, we do not find this feasible with our current number of available staff. Skilljar allows us to enhance our training process through online modules. Therefore our team can focus their energy on doing other projects or tasks.
