It’s awesome having Snagit!

What are the best aspects of this product?

Snagit goes beyond just capturing pictures. It has options that improve or enhance any screenshot. The cost of its license is really worth it. Being able to utilize its image enhancement functionality lets you emphasize certain pieces of an image. It lets you manipulate an image in a number of ways. No feature like it can be seen in other free versions of any other software.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Its color properties won't translate RGB to HEX within the app itself. That means users will have to resort to a coverter app to successfully translate.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

There are a bunch of free apps in the market that lack the ability in enhancing a screenshot. When writing about user documentation and setting up technical guides, you'll require clear images to enhance the capture text. SnagIt not only helps in taking a screenshot, it also has a wide range of tools that concentrates on emphasizing areas found on the image. Snagit is able to able to bridge that gap by letting images do most of the talking (for technical guides). If it weren't for SnagIt, I'd have to resort to Photoshop to get the images in for documentation.
