PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

As the software is very much multi-faceted, a number of strong points could be identified. The strongest in my personal opinion is the extreme customizability of the platform. Not only are there a myriad of features, but these features can also be practically implemented according to the current needs of the administrator. The following example serves to illustrate my point. During the corona crisis our team decided to shift from a partnership-based monetization model to a media based monetization model. Such a shift would normally trigger a long and slow communication chain from administrators to developers and back again. With our Strivecloud platform we had a news segment set up a couple of hours after the initial meeting. We used the inherent social features of the platform to both promote content and find copywriters. Not only was the process fast, we were also able to completely rely on the platform itself for the project. Anyone who loves practicality and tons of features will love working with Strivecloud's software.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

One minor gripe can be identified with the software. The tons of features which form one of the major strengths of Strivecloud also lock you into a gradual learning path. The basics can easily be thought in a couple of hours, but to fully understand all the features and their potential a bigger time investment is necessary. It is important to keep a hands on approach in the first couple of weeks and to pro-actively explore new features. Online gamification is an ever changing game too, excuse the pun, so even after a couple of months you might want to take another in-depth dive into how your platform can anticipate new trends and possibilities. Everything is relatively easy to figure out however, and if you would ever need more specialized costumer support, the Strivecloud team will certainly come to your rescue.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

One aspect which can always be improved, even for a product with all the features you could want, is more automation and quality of life improvements. The product is very easy to use but we’ve noticed that in every check-up meeting more tools can be developed to ease the management process. One example is the addition of different ways to distribute rewards. With one small tweak from the developers a daily ritual became a matter of seconds instead of minutes. These things add up and are a constant way of improving the software.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We have a huge community, many events, and important social aspect and different media channels which we host. The only viable way to combine all these aspects is a platform like Strivecloud. The ease of management, the internal integrations and the ease of adding more features are a godsend in our situation. We really make the platform work for us, without it as a tool we would have had to massively inflate our company for only minor gain.
