A coder’s take on Sublime Text.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I love how simple it can be. The minimalist styling makes it easy to get around in. This is perfect in an environment where you do a lot of coding. Its autocomplete functionality is great. The feature formats the code for you in various languages.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

After 10 saves or so, a popup will show. The popup basically asks you to upgrade for a full license. It's a bit annoying to see that happen. But the free version on its own is worth trying. Other than that, there's nothing else to complain about.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I'm writing code in making solutions intended for the sale of investment products. Sublime Text will inform you when you have a syntax error. While it's a nice thing to have, it can be bothersome. It would take a while for you to realize a mistake was actually caused by you.
