What are the best aspects of this product?
First of all, I would like to comment TimeCamp for its top-notch customer service. I have been having trouble issuing my billing statements more efficiently, and they have really done their best to help me out. This aspect still needs a bit of improvement, but all other features are working like a well-oiled machine. Plus, you can link it to Trello too.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
As I mentioned, I’ve been having trouble sending out more accurate invoices to my client. I offer my services as a designer. This is mostly freelance work which requires me to breakdown all of my tasks so I can bill my clients properly. Now, here’s where the issue comes in: when you link TimeCamp with Trello, the system somehow confuses the tasks that I input in the latter app as a single item. Long story made short: the line blurs between file-naming conventions between these two apps and I end up having difficulty producing an invoice.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I do most of my work as a freelance specialist. This means that I am responsible for my own time and my own productivity. To make the most out of my time, I do need to pinpoint the areas in my work that I could develop to work more efficiently. Alternatively, if a particular task takes too long to accomplish, I could always have the option to bill my client more for said task.
