What are the best aspects of this product?
Transifex happens to be an excellent localization softare for both software devs and dev teams. It's made similarly to known source code repositories such as Github. But what's good about it is its editing capabilities that makes it seamless for translators to function. As a standalone software it effectively manages catalogs with plain docs.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Transifex isn't made for document translation management. If your main aim is set on translating content, then it's not a recommended tool to use. The sweet aspect of it is its software localization. It's made by software devs so it can be utilize in sofware development.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We're using Transifex as one of the main components of our software localization steps for Insightly. It has integration with our build servers. That means the system can detect new prompts for translation immediately when the new builds are being pushed out. On the other side, our language service providers now find it simple in working with materials that we're in need of translating.
