What are the best aspects of this product?

It is all efficient when it comes to taking good care of data. From installation to use, it is simple and offers better user experience as compared to similar products in the market. When it comes to how flexible this tool is, it beats all as it can backup data and help with disaster recover functionalities. The speed is where you want it to be. You can back up your data and restore it within a short period. Most of the times it takes minutes just to restore data and that is where you find Veeam to be reliable. The Remote Console of the tool is without doubt one of the best features the product has. It allows you to work on a computer without the need to connect to the server which is amazing.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It is actually a total package product for your backup solutions. When it comes to giving your data the needed support in case where the server is down or there is disaster which calls for the restoration of the entire or part of the file servers, Veeam gives you that support and more. However, initially, we had problems with the lack of support in terms of backups for the physical machines. This was in the previous version of the tool but with the latest 9.5 version, I understand they have included this feature which makes this tool a complete package to invest in.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

The idea was to be able to solve issues that relate to backup, data security and restoration in the case of a disaster. Veeam does it better as compared to any other product in the market which offers similar functionalities. It has done that for us as we can guarantee security for our VMware server files. We can back them all up into the system and restore them within a very short period. This means that if our servers are destroyed, we can restore them and get back into normal operations without wasting a lot of time on the same. Also, it is possible to restore a specific file server without much effort or time wasted.
