Integrates well with Exagrid

What are the best aspects of this product?

It has a desirable view on the monitor. You can generate reports on the data or on a certain category of data in graphical reports. We have seen this to be better than what vCenter has to offer. With Veeam, it helps to improve the visibility of your data through the reports and also the user interface. It is simple for any user to view and make a conclusion on the performance of the data. Apart from that it alerts you on the various statuses of your data. For example, when you are supposed to back up or when you want to generate the graphical reports of that data.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Initially we had problems when it came to integrating the VeeamOne and the Veeam B&R. the license keys offered for both did not work well to help those two products be compatible. This delayed every process of making the two products work hand in hand. It was a frustrating experience as we could not get value for our efforts and investment. It proved to be difficult to try and bring those two to work with the help of the license keys. Luckily, the technical team later resolved this problem and everything is in check at the moment.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It has allowed us to solve different business problems where one of them is the backup issue. Since Veeam integrates well with Exagrid, we are able to use that to help us with our backup issues. We can replicate data and back it up in the case of a disaster. If such a disaster occurs, we are able to restore that data within minutes and move on with our normal operations. Together with the Exagrid backup appliances we have been able to completely deal with the storage and backup issues. In the end, we do not have to worry about the failure of our servers as they are backed up into the system for security purposes.
