PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

This POS system meets all of my needs. It works well and delivers all that is promised. I love the interface with other software product I use. When I make a suggestion for a report or update that I need, it is always addressed. I am very happy with how fast these updates are done.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Every so often, the link between Vend and Shopify breaks. Both companies say it is the other one. The negative impact of this is that my on-line store will sell products that I do not have in stock. It makes for a bit of a stressful day. This does not happen often but does occur.
I would also like to have a YTD field on the retail dashboard so I can easily see my YTD sales per store.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

I would like to see a payment system directly in Vend - (use the ipad as a payment device).

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I switched from another POS system to Vend 4 years ago. The other system did not meet all of my companies financial needs not did it update and maintain our inventory correctly.

Wanted a better system to link all our stores. (In the cloud) At that time lightspeed did not have a "cloud" product.

After a terrible start up with Vend, all my issues were resolved and I now think this was a good change.
