What are the best aspects of this product?

I like that it provides me the ability to generate assemblies, and this makes project estimates a lot faster and easier. It makes a comparison between cost estimates easy and accurate through automatic calculation. Also, I can import CAD files using it.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I wish ProContractor is integrated with ViewPoint. This capability could have helped us download the initial estimates (which is the preparatory budget for our projects) directly from ViewPoint system. Unfortunately, they’re not compatible. For us to make this possible, we need to use a custom Excel sheet and ViewPoint will charge us for it.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

The software makes the cost estimate for projects easy and quick. We have everything we need in one place, be it for estimating, project management, accounting, or takeoffs.
