What are the best aspects of this product?
WebFOCUS is known to provide reporting materials to meet every company's needs. I love that the company is supportive of its clients that it has offered us a detailed training of the product. Also, there are different forums or local communities that you can turn to whenever you need help with how the software works. Also, WebForum is so flexible that integration with 3rd party apps is not a significant issue at all. I feel secure using this product because I know that I can always rely on their CS team to help me out.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Sometimes you’re in the middle of building reports for the department when the system would freeze and, eventually, cash. This means that your work would be deleted from the system, leaving you with no choice but to start from scratch. Also, they need to work on their programming issues because it takes time for web pages to recognize and respond to a specific command. This happened to me several times, and it leaves me feeling frustrated. I realized that I cannot fully maximize the software because I still have no idea how to use some of its features.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Using WebFOCUS has brought a lot of good changes in our company for the past months. I have seen the upward trend in our reports meaning that the productivity and customer response is doing quite well. Instead of using multiple sources to derive our data, we were able to consolidate it in one single platform, which is WebFOCUS. No need to spend so much time creating reports because WebFOCUS can do these in half the time. You are assured that the numbers are all accurate, so you can always make the best decisions for the benefit of the majority.
