What are the best aspects of this product?

Windows Movie Maker was very helpful in coming up with nice videos quickly. I used it mainly for personal or home videos that I could show to family and friends. For professional outputs, I made passable videos for presentation.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I'm sad that Windows has discontinued this product because it was a great application.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Small businesses, professionals, students, and video editing amateurs relied on Windows Movie Maker to create something rapidly. Since it was free, they could focus on the output and worry less about the budget. They didn't have to deal with steep learning curves either. But all that is gone now that Windows has stopped distributing the software.
