Very solid and update-proof, support community is great

What are the best aspects of this product?

I have two years of day-to-day usage experience, from which I can point out few advantages: Woo Commerce is set up with minimal efforts, and doesn't have such a bumpy learning curve. The second thing is that there is a free and a premium package to choose from, and both are packed with functional features and customization options. The template engine seems a bit challenging at the beginning, but becomes a routine when you get used to it. The third thing is obviously the support community, where you can have all your questions answered. I came across users who were outstanding experts in Wordpress, and they can lend a hand with premium plugins.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Documentation leaves a lot to wish for, the same as stylesheets which will really benefit from some extra BEM. That's my opinion, at least.

Woo Commerce became our affordable getaway for deploying ecommerce in financially constrained cases. The ability to respond equally well to the needs of every client is essential for our business, which is why we’re not letting go of Woo Commerce. Hosting is reliable with every company (even in the free plan), and there are many modern updates to thank the Automattic Team for.
