WordPress Review

PROS: It makes modification simple for developers and designers, which is fantastic. Without a doubt, one of my favorite CMSs is WordPress

CONS: I hope there's a simple method for removing all the features we don't need.

PROS: Easy to use website and the most important thing about this site is the fact that Wordpress is with high quality. It doesn’t even look like MySpace or Xanga, but it looks more professional and offers great quality blogging. It offers great analytic tools and these are really helpful because I am able to know who is reading my contents. Wordpress is ideal for bloggers.

CONS: I didn’t have much knowledge in web developing, and it was really difficult to start using this site. So I suggest to do some research or watch some tutorials on how to use WP before you start.

PROS: This is my N.1 favorite CMS tool, I used other CMS platforms and I have some SEO plans built within each one but Wordpress is far more beyond all these CMS solutions, because it allows me to do things that I couldn’t within other systems. I love its plugin options because they provide me with everything I need and it allows me to add features. The platform is free to use.

CONS: There are plugins that consume lot of memory. Also, it can be really hard to do some custom theme work especially if you do not have some developing skills and knowledge.

PROS: I really like Wordpress. The team behind it is extremely creative because they make the Wordpress one of the best Content Management System in the market. It is one of the best platform that allows you to do almost everything you can think of by using its plugins. I am able to relate the plugins to Apple app store and Google Play app store. It offers great set of plugins. This tool is made for blogs and content but it is great solution for running a website.

CONS: They could update some of the main codes so I can be sure that the platform would be updated fast.

PROS: Wordpress is supported by informed and active community. It is a free and open-sourced software. Very intuitive and easy to set up, very customizable. It is extendable via its plugin environment. We are using it for all sites. I am able to create themes for layouts. Once we had some issues and we have been frustrated, but they immediately fixed the problem and added new features.

CONS: I would like to see an easy way to rip out all the functionalities we don’t use. Even though the platform is CMS, the blogging is main focus still.

PROS: When it comes to CMS, word press is number one in the market today. Great for designers and developers, it allows them easy customization. For those with little or no experience with codes, and creating designs they don’t need to worry about using this platform, it is user-friendly and they can easily start to work and maintain their own website. This is great thing by far. WordPress offers millions of plugins and features that are easy to install and customize.

CONS: Even when you start using WP and when you start to think that you are finally a web developer, change some settings and options and you will end up with some issues.

PROS: Wordpress is one of my favorite CMS tool. I have used other CMS systems and I have created SEO plans within each one, but I haven’t found that any of these systems can do things like Wordpress can. Finally, I have decided to go after WP and this is one of the best decisions I have made. Its plugin options allow me to do everything I need. I like that I can add features and I can use it for free.

CONS: I have found that some plugins consume too much memory. Unless you are developer it can be really hard to do some custom theme work.

PROS: I am able to use already planned layouts and to tweak the HTML, this is very helpful for me because I don’t have much experience in creating codes. Wordpress is simply to use and we use it as CSM for our website. It is very intuitive and template, easy to set up and great set of designs. You can easily install plugins on the platform. This is great platform even for those who don’t have web design experience when it comes to customizing or adding pages and contents.

CONS: In my opinion the plugin for SEO is useless, we are using other more robust tools. I believe this is not Wordpress issue. Also, some templates are limiting, our site is very detailed and this can be a problem for us.

PROS: WordPress is hands down easy and intuitive to use. I have built many sites using WordPress and have always enjoyed the project. We use WordPress on 2 different websites and it solves all our website issues.

CONS: The jump to v5 Gutenberg went smooth for me. I find that the classic editor meets my needs much better.

PROS: WordPress is very simple and intuitive platform, made for everyone. You can easily start blogging, maintain, secure and update your site. Although there are lots of free stuff in WP, the prices of the additional services are quite reasonable. There are lot of available themes, designs and plugins in the market. WP team regularly releases upgrades and features, they take care of everything of every update, caching and backup. SEO is free whether there is on-page or off-page. If you don’t want ads on your page you can move to premium version and have access to premium plugins and themes as well. You can use WP for free for blogging, for presenting your content.

CONS: Even though the plugins are available to optimize and maintain the blog can be difficult. Also, after upgrades the site is going down. Sometimes you need to switch to other plugin if the one you are using is not updated by WP’ developers.

PROS: Wordpress has grown from simple blogging solution to a full featured option for website and CMS software. We use it for our website and it allows us to launch a site with the input of various employees who can create changes by using wordpress on our server. I like its widgets and I like how easily I can change the sheets. It allows us to use template to drive the site.

CONS: They could make the HTML editing on style sheets simpler to preview without publishing. There is no way to check whether it is working without publishing or having it live. Also, they could improve the customization as well it has too many folders that need to be customized.

PROS: Wordpress is one of the best blogging platforms and content delivery engine. The solution is constantly updated and improved. It provides lots of free and paid plugins so you can better customize your website. It is powerful tool for running your blog or website.

CONS: Sometimes with constant updates we face some issues with plugins. I think this is because of the plugin’s design and authored. Also, when I use it on a Windows server it requires some work to be done and this is not a case with Linux based host.

PROS: Why I love wordpress? Well, it is free, I can choose from their large set of plugins, I can personalize wordpress the way I want, and I am using it as a content manager for my own website and for web app. It is very flexible and this means that I am allowed to add new elements, new text fields for my categories. I am even able to integrate it with other media and with media for videos and images. The interface is understandable and clear with clear labels. WP can be used as website or even as web app by using same account.

CONS: It can be difficult to understand different levels of categories especially if you use subcategories between. And, the CMS can be slow.

PROS: Wordpress is blogging platform and content delivery engine, and it’s second to none. They constantly improve the system by releasing updates. There are lot of free and paid features and plugins that allow you to better customize your website. I like that I use this tool for running my websites.

CONS: As I said before, they constantly release new updates but we always face some issues when using some plugins, but In my opinion, this is because of the plugin’s design more. Furthermore, when you work on a Windows servier there is a need for some work to be dones, but when working on Linux based host there is no need to do anything.

PROS: Wordpress offers great set of features and it allows you to take control of your website and to use all your imagination. We don’t have to spend tons of money because this tool provides us with great set of features. It is well integrated with other social networks and this means that we can easily interact within the web. It has lot of themes to choose.

CONS: I personally don’t like that the free plan doesn’t allow embedding Java Scripts. Also, there are lot of spam comments in the blog and I hate that I have to read through the comments in order to spot the spams.

PROS: In few clicks you will have your own website that is easy to customize it. This CMS tool offers plugins that are helpful for managing website and you can improve your traffic as well. You can manage whole community of bloggers and manage lot of blogs, you can even schedule publications and assign profiles. The other good thing about Wordpress is that it can be used even by those who do not have experience with technology and IT.

CONS: On the other side,if you want to customize the template then expect nightmares if you do not have experience with technology and IT.

PROS: If you need a tool that has an easy to use interface, straightforward and understandable then the right choice for you is Wordpress. This CMS software platform meets all our needs and I believe that I would never change it. I’m using it to create website and to work on a content creaton, the tool is customizable and responsive.

CONS: The templates for mobile device need to be more flexible and I don’t like to use same theme all the time.

PROS: With Wordpress you can do everything you can imagine when it comes to running and managing your website. It allows you to create a site of your dreams. You can use templates and its plugins. You can work for your clients and open web Development Company. It offers freedom when it comes to managing and achieving all your professional goals.

CONS: Wordpress offers huge amount of plugins but this means that all your functionality is or can be locked up in 3rd party code. You have to use new plugin in order to make some changes instead of making the changes by yourself.

PROS: If you are novice and you are searching for an interface that is easy to use, intuitive and understandable then Wordpress is definitely for you, it will meet all your needs. I think I will never change this platform. I’m using it in both ways, to create website and to work on a content creation. It is customizable and highly responsive.

CONS: I wish they could make more flexible templates for mobile devices that have clear look. It can be boring if you use same theme all the time, but as I can see some of their themes are basic.

PROS: Wordpress is constantly updated and it is easy to set up. I like that is supported by every hosting company and that is globally accepted solution. They frequently release new updates and plugins. It has lot of plugins and themes as well.

CONS: There is no real user support.

PROS: The Wordpress team is creative and they made Wordpress N.1 CMS tool in the market today. You have lot of plugins to use so you can express your creativity when crating your own website. I can relate the plugins to Apple store and Google app store. This is great solution for blogs and content and it provides great functionality for managign websites.

CONS: Some codes need to be updated or they could update whole platform.

PROS: Wordpress is easy to set up and use, I think everyone can learn how to work on this site. Plugins and navigations are easy, as well the theme integration. We managed to integrate Aveda Theme directly into our wordpress site and we customize it the way we want. There are lot of available plugin options, for .e.g if I want/need to customize the site all I have to do is to search for a plugin for timeline, event page, slideshow or an image gallery and I can always find something that is useful for me.

CONS: There are some small issues with the plugins and the server we are using, because some of our plugins don’t connect well and they have breakdown. I don’t know if this is coming from the wordpress platform or this is an issue with the WPEngine itself.

PROS: I’m using Wordpress for lot of purposes, as a self-host I have lot of free blogs through WP and that’s why I want to work with it. It allows me to choose between simplicity and complexity of the platform. It is flexible platforms and highly useful thanks to its plugins. This is great choice for small businesses to create own websites and blogs. The set up is easy and the learning curve is small. Also, I like its dashboard because you can find everything you need on it.

CONS: I’d like to view my analytics through hosted sites instead of using the plugin within WP.

PROS: I use WP for various purposes. As a self-host I have done tons of free blogs via WP. Because of this I like working with WP. You can choose between its simplicity and complexity. It is flexible, useful, helpful and full with plugins. It is great for small business to build their websites and blogs. It is easy to set up and easy to learn. Its dashboard is great and it shows you everything you need. It is great tool to manage all your team.

CONS: It would be great if I could view my analytics via my hosted sites instead of going to WP.com and using the plugin.

PROS: From simple blogging tool Wordpress has grown into full fatured options made for managing website and CMS. Furthermore, the customization needs to be improved and all its folders need to be customized.

PROS: If you want to use custom domain or some specific templates then you have to pay, otherwise it is free to use. Super intuitive and easy to use, but you need to have some HTML knowledge before you start with wordpress.

CONS: As I said before, wordpress doesn’t require HTML knowledge as long as you use its templates or if you want to work directly from the main design page. Sometimes the design is not translated to the “live” page so they need to be address by tweaking the HTML directly.

PROS: Wordpress allows you to do everything you want when it comes to managing websites, you can create sites the way you want. It offers great set of plugins and templates, you can work along with your clients. You have all the freedom you need for managing and achievening all your goals on network.

CONS: Because WP offers great amount of plugins it means that all the functionality is/or can be locked up within 3rd party code, and this means that you have to use new plugin so you can make changes instead of making them by yourself.

PROS: There are lot of options, illustrations and plugins available for free, you don’t need to pay for premium version. WordPress is easy to use starting from easy to set up to editing all your information. You are even able to pay for own domain name via your platform without using different services. This platform is great for those who are creative and want to create their own design or they can even choose design directly from WP.

CONS: I needed some time to learn all the options on WP, but once you understand how this platform works everything becomes easier, and works well. I don’t have dislikes about WordPress, this is great platform.

PROS: Fast and easy to use CMS tool. In just a few click you have your website online and customizable. It has great amount of plugins that are extremely helpful for running your website and improving your traffic. It is great for managing whole community of bloggers. You can easily schedule publications and assign profiles. If you want to link Analytics or to have a Dashboard you want all you have to do is to copy/paste the API. Great tool even if you are not tech savvy.

CONS: If you want to customize your template then be ready for nightmare especially if you don’t have some tech skills.

PROS: I like that within Wordpress you can find huge set of features so you can take better control over your sites and you can use all of your imagination to create the look of your site the way you want. There is no need to spend whole treasure for managing your sites because within this system you can find useful features even for free. The other thing that I like about it is the perfect integration with other social networks and this is great because we can easily interact within the network. Also, it provides great set of themes.

CONS: The free version doesn’t allow embedding Java Scripts, and there are lot of spam comments in the blog and this means that I have to read all the coments and delete spams manually.

PROS: I can say that wordpress is one of the best and most intuitive web building platform in the market. I am able to manage several pages from wordpress in less time. Their team always provide new themes, plugins, widgets and features. I can use this site for free and it is really great start for beginners and for those who have experience in web development departments.

CONS: I can mess up with my sites when I want to updated them, so I have to go back to the FTP of the site and then fix it. But, this is not big deal at all.
