PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Professional in the way they work. Almost all the functionalities a marketplace software could have is inbuilt. Customizable. Lifetime license (with code).

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Providing your lifetime license buyers with free updates (new feature additions) would be a great thing to do for improving your existing customer base.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

Free upgrade to new updates would be a great thing to have. Also, the system comes with a very basic accounting system, would be better if the account system is much more advanced. Another aspect that would need an upgrade would be the ability to add keywords in all pages (for SEO works), currently this feature is lacking.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I have spent a tremendous amount of time researching for online marketplace/similar platforms. After digging out several good ones, I finally concluded that Yo-kart is the right solution for my business. It has a lot of features that my business wanted, helped me comply with GDPR easily (there are inbuilt GDPR compliance packages which makes things easier and simpler). Even the dev team carried out the customizations that I wanted (of course for an additional price). In short, overall and great product and I would say that it meets the requirement and could be a one time investment while compared to Shopify/any other annually paid platforms. The only down side I would say is that, a professional PHP developer should be onboard to make any modifications/changes/adding new functionalities, etc which is not exactly a downside (just a flag that should be kept in mind while opting for this software). Team Fatbit developed this platform really well and they have put in a lot of thought in making it a plug and play kind of solution for layman (ofcouse the installation part can be done by professionals only, which was taken care by the FATBIT team when the platform was purchased). Moreover, the whole thing comes with a lifetime license so it is going to be your own platform for lifelong.
