I have been with Hostwinds for long enough ti say their service is top-notch.
Everyone there goes over and above to help you solve your issues immediately. I normally use their chatbox to talk with them. I have used email maybe twice and even then I received detailed responses from them regarding my questions.
I highly recommend Hostwinds primarily because I am not technical and don't have a desire to learn most of the behind-the-scenes stuff. They always talk to me in a language that I can understand, which I love. I haven't had one bad interaction with them and I can't say that about other hosting companies I have had before.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There are no problems.
