What are the best aspects of this product?
Being able to make customizations. Getting this system to specifically meet our needs. We've used a lot of CRMs in the past. And we've made it right back to using Act!
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
When including contacts in a company, it would frequently give a notification that goes something like: "you are creating a duplicate record." This triggers a lot of confusion. But through training, it can actually be resolved. We like how it's able to access more than one database simultaneously.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We're running a number of datases through Act! Currently, our sales, marketing, and staffing divisions are making use of certain databases in the system. We were able to have Act! integrated to our site. This deals with the side of our staff, which helped us save hundreds of man hours each year.
