What are the best aspects of this product?
Intake forms are easy to set up and come up when a client schedules. Everything is pretty intuitive. They have a free service to try which is great when starting a business. As the business takes off, it makes sense to upgrade gradually through the different plans they offer. Since I'm starting a new business (which means zero income at first), the free service takes the pressure off.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
If I want to change my availability on the Business calendar, it doesn't note which times have been booked.
For example: Times entered for a Monday are 9:00, 10:00, & 11:00 am. If Clients booked 9:00 & 10:00, and I want to change my overall day to work in the afternoon, I can't see which times are taken. I have to write taken times down on a piece paper. It would be nice if times were greyed out.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
They offer only two options for clients to see:
1) A calendar of the month (picture of the month like a wall calendar) to click on or
2) Times available like at a movie theater (Monday 9:00, 10:00; Wednesday 12:00, 3:00; Monday "4 weeks from now" 11:00, 2:00; ).
It would be nice to have both a visual month (click on the week desired) and the listed times (so client doesn't have to click on each day individually) because clients get confused which week they are scheduling when dates can be weeks out. Customer Service wrote me that they passed on the request to their developers.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Used to schedule with old method of a datebook. Mix-ups occurred. Acuity Scheduling definitely is a necessity!
