PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

It's simple to use. What's more, it's free. Its functionality is basic, but very helpful in a number of ways. It contains a tool for highlighting, options for multi-page viewing, and the ability for signing docs electronically. You also have the ability to save and look into fillable forms.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Its functionality is as barebones as they come. I'm annoyed with the Reader not capable of exporting docs in other formats. I really miss that old functionality from Acrobat. Aside from that, I can do without.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

As a result of restricted Adobe licenses within my company, I utilize Reader instead of Acrobat both in my desktop PC and laptop. It serves an important functionality really well. It's handy when used with Microsoft Word. I'm able to save paperwork in PDF format in Word, then have them opened in Reader to ensure the formatting is properly done. It's an app that I take for granted as I consistently utilize for work.
