Adobe Premiere Pro Review

PROS: I've been using this program for over a decade, and I have learned its quirks like the back of my hand. For me, it is the best at what it does. If there are features that I need to be added to my toolbox, I love how I can easily top-up my subscription and purchase an add-on. I can work with various professionals all over the globe too--we speak the same language after all: the language of Adobe Premiere. This is the best tool for my needs and I can see myself using this for ten more years into the future.

CONS: This might work seamlessly with Adobe products, but it does not play as smoothly with other 3rd-party solutions. I also don't appreciate that I have to pay this monthly. An annual plan would be better and much more convenient after all.

PROS: What really sets this video editing software apart are its features. Just from the top of my head, I'm going to list some of the elements that this program has that the others don't. 1) It allows you to share projects so you and other team members can work on the same file at the same time. 2) You can easily import multiple projects at a time. 3) It has a syncing feature between your audio and your video files. 4) It has a top-notch color-correcting feature. 5) It works with other Adobe editing programs seamlessly.

CONS: My work gets interrupted by intermittent program crashes. I also wish that the developers would make more room for a slideshow feature because the current one has limited features.

PROS: The best thing about this program is that it allows you to flex your creativity muscles as much as you want. Its features give you the freedom to edit and create videos according to your professional vision. Not to mention, you can work with both this and Adobe Photoshop for a more professional-grade finish too.

CONS: I've observed this program through the years, and I'm really impressed with its improvement. What I hope they will work on next: the transitions in slideshows.

PROS: The plethora of tools and features that this program has is second to none. There are effects here that cannot be found in another editing software. Sure at the start, there's going to be some adjustments in terms of usage, but the learning curve is well worth it. This works seamlessly with all the other Adobe products too.

CONS: My computer can't seem to keep up with some features. So if you're thinking about using this, you better gear up your PC with some really powerful updates.

PROS: As other Adobe products you can set up the workspace so it can meet you needs, and to do the job easily. The tools are simple and intuitive and it helps you to be more focused on editing. I like the media source window because it allows me to watcg through source files, select time codes and to insert into main sequence with precision. It takes a while to learn how this program works and because of the fact that this tool can do a lot it can be little messy and less friendly. They could make it even more intuitive especially when placing a clip around. We sell video contents and this tool helps us to experiment more with our video outputs, to imporve cuts, overlays and to improve the sound as best as we can.

CONS:

PROS: This is the perfect complement to Adobe After Effects. Admittedly, After Effects is my go-to tool, but for more heavy video editing, Adobe Premiere is my top choice. For one, it is very easy to use. It also does not lag as often as other solutions. Between its ease of use and fast-acting solutions, I can say that I am a huge fan of this program.

CONS: It's a little difficult to add subtitles and other graphics to videos on Adobe Premiere. However, I'm sure that there is a work-around to this that I haven't figured out yet.

PROS: Premier works perfectly and everything about it is user-friendly and simple. It has flexible and simple UI that allows you to make all the things with easy. You can have main monitor on a separate screen for live-review and to have your main window resides on another screen and this is importatn for color correction because you can see what it will look like on a various screen.

CONS: It has steep learning curve for both UI and the software in general. If you are not familiar with this software it might feel daunting but once you become familiar you’ll begin to feel its flow.

PROS: I like how easy to use is and how it interacts with other programs in Adobe Creative Suite. I used other tool and I can say that I will never look back or search for other solution. It offers so many options and ability to have control over your edits. I especially like the color correction tools. The tool is customizable and with intuitive timeline.

CONS: Sometimes there are some biugs and it doesn’t allow updates of dynamic link project from other programs. Also, it closes unexpectedly but my projects are save and I haven’t lost anything. In addition, they could add more effects options built-in instead of purchasing plug-ins.

PROS: It's very easy to use compared to avid media composer and there are so many possibilities, you can do whatever you want with premiere pro!

CONS: I don't like the new title window

PROS: Adobe has promised a robust video editing tool, and it really did deliver. I love Adobe Premiere because it has a plethora of features that cannot be found in any other editing solution. I also love its auto-conversion feature that saves me a lot of time. There are keyboard shortcuts that further its rally for efficiency too.

CONS: I've explored this program thoroughly, and I've determined that the only downside to this is that it takes up quite a bit of space in my PC. That's it. Other than this, Adobe Premiere works like a dream.

PROS: The tool is user-friendly and I can easily teach others how to use it. It offers great collaboration with other Adobe products. I used other editing software product but it had lot of limitations so I started with Premiere and other Adobe products.

CONS: I’d like to see advanced audio-editing tools. I often use the Audtion for primarly audio projects but when I want to create quick video it doesn’t have some shortcuts for doing it.

PROS: Adobe Premiere is the only video creation and editing software that ticks off all of my requirements. First of all, it is the only option that works seamlessly with my other Adobe products. It's also very easy to manipulate. Plus, I love how the developers take the time to carefully roll out new updates that they think would be relevant to their users. To top this all off, Adobe Premiere is by far the fastest editing program that I've used--the lags are practically unnoticeable.

CONS: My beef with some of the features of this program is limited. I can only think of two things. First, whenever the program crashes in the middle of a task, it's almost impossible to retrieve your progress once you fire it back up again. Another issue that I have to manually clean up my folders after finishing an editing project.

PROS: I’m using Premier as a video editing tol, it has clean look, easy to learn and it runs perfectly. You can do lot of things besides cutting a video only. It has wonderful options for audio editing, graphics, color correction and great collaboration with other Adobe programs. I like that they constantly improve the product and releases new updates.

CONS: Sometimes when it comes to updates not everything runs smoothly and you can face some bugs, but the work is always saved so I don’t have troubles with it.

PROS: In my opinion, this is the most powerful video editing tool in the market today, the tools is customizable and versatile. It provides me with complete and full control over the projects while doing the editing. Some video editing solutions are buggy and too straightforward with no customization at all.

CONS: If you’re beginner you will find the UI a bit daunting and this is normal for basic users, advanced one are more familiar with the software itself. It would be great if they could include some video tuttorials in order to better understand the product.

PROS: I’m using Premiere for more than 6 years and it is my go –to tool for editing starting from basic family video toa feature lenght independent film. This tool allows us access to huge amount of tools for creating perfect video. Starting from basic cutting and color grading to motion tracking effects. We can work through every step of post-production from one place.

CONS: System optimizations depends of the power of your computer. Also, sometimes it can be difficult when exporting between Mac OS X and Windows and this makes the collaboration between two different operating system difficult.

PROS: Even as beginner film editor I used Premier to create video campaigns for sales, marketing and community relations for small organization and companies. I managed to create campaigns that increase my customer’ income and sales.

CONS: I don’t like that if I want to cancel cloud based subscription I’m going to lost access to the whole program instead of updates only.

PROS: I like that this tool offers useful shortcuts so I can do my job quickly without looking around for a tools I need. I like its compatibility with Adobe Media Encoder because it saves me lot of time and to queue up lot of exports while working into the Premiere.

CONS: It can be cumbersome and what happened when I accidentally click on something the interface changes and I cannot figure out what’s going on and how to fix it. But I now have more knowledge and experience with this tool and know how to navigate it better.
