It’s Adobe’s product and that’s enough

What are the best aspects of this product?

Adobe’s Enterprise Plan 2 option allows us to request signatures so we can use digital certificates. Anyone who has digital certificate and Acrobat Reader configuration on their device can be incorporated in ad-hoc workflow. The other good thing is that the Signatories are not required to have sign service license or to install the tool on their device.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

ASS leaves some server process marks on the docs that are handled via Sign Service and are not fully recognized by the public validation services in Swiss. I’m sure that Adobe Sign is not aware of the validator.ch and because of this documents that are valid qualified digital signatures processed via Sign service appear as invalid when checking through validator.ch.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We can easily track internal documents that need formal approving, senders are allowed to incorporate practically any recipient as a signatory and they don’t need to have configured Adobe Reader or some qualified personal digital certificate so they can participate in business transactions. It helps us to reduce time for signing documents by multiple signatories, it reduces the transaction cycle time and improves the quality via doc process for monitoring and control.
