Alexa Review

PROS: I like how this has made everything so convenient. Thanks to it, I can add things to my shopping list even if I don't have a pen or paper nearby. It has kept me up to date with the news and has even suggested stories to me. It has also helped me handle my kids, as they can play games with it and they're amused that it can talk back to them.

CONS: I think there can be improvements made when it comes to voice recognition. There have been times where I swear that I am saying the words as clearly as I can and she still doesn't get what I'm saying. I've also often had to lower down the volume just for it to hear me and do what I am asking it to do. That's an improvement I'd like to see in future versions.

PROS: You can go anywhere in the modern world and they will likely know or have heard of Alexa. The volume of users itself is already astounding. And rightfully so because Alexa does its job well. It can take notes for you, among other day-to-day tasks that it can assist you with. It’s quite responsive, all things considered. You don’t have to spend a bulk of your time repeating yourself because Alexa can easily translate your speech into action right away. I know the developers are continually adding more features into this program, and I honestly can’t wait to see what else they have in store for users.

CONS: Alexa, somehow, only keeps the history of your intent and not the text in its database. Plus, you better prepare for days of frustration when your request isn’t matched by the right response. These, and the fact that they are still not available to developers, all is good otherwise.

PROS: I like several things about this tool. It has been a great help to us when it comes to looking at trends, coming up with analysis and results, as well as compiling data. I have also been able to use this to help out with our business, thanks to how it has helped me come up with improvements and new strategies to further benefit the bottom line. It has also been helpful when it comes to looking at our competitors to see what they're doing right and what they're doing wrong. As a result, we've been able to take the best from that and gain new customers. I also like how it equips us with information with regards to website traffic, such as what drives it, how it works, and insights on what drives down traffic down and how you can prevent that from happening again.

CONS: I have to say that the toolbar could be more user-friendly. I am also not a big fan of the restrictions that come with the free version. I also think that the version with added features is priced a little too steeply.

PROS: Quite frankly, I’ve integrated Alexa so deep into my everyday routine. From the moment I wake up down to when I hit the bed at night, I rely on this program to make my day run more smoothly. Alexa is everything one would look for in a virtual assistant—responsive and automated. It’s nice to have the coffee brewed and ready for you while you go about your other tasks, after all.

CONS: Just like everything online and offline these days, you have to be wary of the information that you share to (and through) Alexa. It has recording capabilities that you’ll never know might incriminate you someday. All I’m saying is that Alexa is a good program and all, but don’t divulge too much of your private life too.
