PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

I love that I can create mods to increase my sales for upgrade and other products. Aloha is very easy to use for employees but I can also depend on the vendor's technical support when I can't do it by myself.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The support line requests are very costly so you must only ask for help if it's really needed. It was also upsetting when the technical support representative can't provide solutions to the problems, so I have to pay additional fees when they work it out. It took me awhile to sort out all the bugs and to know how to do all of the necessary technical adjustments. I'm not that very techie person but I typically puzzle it out. It also took some time to restart after transferring our whole registry from a site that is already active for 20 years. It was disappointing.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Mods options help remind employees to ask questions for the guests to upgrade. Also, security checks help prevent workers from discounting or reviewing products and reimbursing the money that they do not have permission. The system's monitor clock helps stop workers from clocking so soon, too. Lastly, it's now easy to ring patrons and open tabs if needed.
