PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

This backup solution allows me to manage all the backups for multiple VM Host servers at the same time. It allows me to setup templates for backup schedules as well as individualize settings as needed.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Occasionally, I have run into the issue where a backup fails and the error messages are sometimes generalized and don't point you to the issue without contacting support.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

I would love for there to be a way to restore deduplicated files from within a backup through the file restore option rather than just through the use of instant mount.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We solved the ability to do efficient, timely backups that can be restored almost immediately to working order in the event that a server crashes.

We are working on more verbose error messaging, and we are putting efforts into publishing additional KB articles which error messages can link to, in order to provide a ‘next step’ for each error scenario. However, this is not always possible and sometimes we simply need to look into further logging to provide further recommendations and solutions -- in those cases you will of course find our team ready to help, quickly!
