Great Backup Solution for peace of mind at a fair price

What are the best aspects of this product?

-On line dashboard to receive info on all backups of everylocations in one place instead of filtering thru tons of emails
-Great compression of files
-Multiple possibilities of backup locations for both on site and offsite backups
-Offers great features such as backup verifications, boot from backup
-Can either recover the full VM, a few files, exchange items, or simply one virtual hard disk
-Works great for both VMWARE and HYPER-V

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There is no password protection on the software itself, so if the server is left unattended and unlocked or if a brute force attack goes thru the windows security the backups are at risk.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

A password to open the software and have it not linked to the windows account.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We managed to sell this product to a lot of our clients who required backups but did not want to pay too much money for it.

Also we replaced most of our previous VEEAM installations for this products as we did not need most of the extra features VEEAM can offer and we find ALTARO to be a product that suits our needs just perfectly.
