What are the best aspects of this product?

I think Confluence is an excellent app to document procedures and processes. Most people hate documentation, but Confluence is so easy to use it makes the process an enjoyable one. I document a lot and the system enables me to use my keyboard for formatting through macros and keystrokes without needing to use a mouse.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I have no complaints about the application. The only minor glitch is search results are not ordered by relevance. It may be my imagination or it could be a configuration decision of the administrators. Anyway, it is a negligible issue so no worries.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We use Confluence as a document storage product and also to manage our internal documentation and wiki. Most people hate documentation, but Confluence makes it easy to write and edit documents. This means our employees have no excuse to skip documentation and they can make use of our strong knowledge repository for reference.
