What are the best aspects of this product?

Confluence is very affordable and you need to pay only $10/year for 10 users to host the system on-premise. This ensures I can maintain good data security. The app is easy to set up and use as everything is point-and-click. The Spaces feature helps to keep everything organized. You can grant permission to these spaces based on user role and define what each user can do in the spaces.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The graphic user interface can be a bit slow at times. The mobile interface is limited but comes in handy when you wish to access your data in the field. We use the mobile interface a lot during meetings to quickly access protocols and documents.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Previously we were emailing Word documents to and fro. Now, Confluence offers a central location where we can collaborate on tasks without needing to invest in additional solutions like Microsoft Office.
