What are the best aspects of this product?

Confluence is great for beginners, with its templates I can easily create pages. This tool is easy to use, it allows you to create pages and to organize them into spaces, and it provides permissions policy for the content. There is wonderful integration with JIRA and Hipchat as well.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Sometimes it can be difficult to create projects from scratch. Also, some features are not always intuitive and the search option is not optimal. In addition, it requires add-ons for specific use cases.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We collaborate with diverse groups and together we work on different projects, the documentation team needs to collaborate with QA and developers so they can easily coordinate the projects and have the products ready to ship. Confluence helps us to share content with all members, to update content status constantly and to keep people generally in the loop.
