Secure Transaction Verification 

Companies in the banking industry can use Authlogics Multi-Factor Authentication to verify customers’ identities and financial transactions in a simple and secure manner. In order to generate a one-time pin or passcode required to verify their identity and transaction, they need to use the pattern or shape (“something you know”)  they previously created with the random numbers (“something you have”) displayed in the grid. The grid numbers are presented uniquely only for their device and the transaction at the moment they are logging in. Moreover, the transaction will be declined and the one-time pin won’t authorize it when the transaction information is tampered or changed while being delivered to the bank. 

Passwordless & Deviceless Authentication 

Authlogics Multi-Factor Authentication makes it easy for you to implement passwordless and deviceless authentication processes. You can employ PINphrase, a type of two-factor authentication technique wherein users can log in and get their identity validated and confirmed using one-time passcodes instead of passwords. With PINphrase authentication, they are asked to enter individual characters from memorizable information about themselves such as a place, date, their favorite sports team, or their middle name. 

This eliminates the need to use traditional passwords which are difficult to remember, hamper productivity, and vulnerable to phishing, key loggers, and malware. Moreover, Authlogics Multi-Factor Authentication allows users to achieve OTP authentication without using separate hardware tokens, physical keys, and devices. They can respond to a PINgrid, PINpass, or PINphrase challenges directly within their browser, app, or device. 

Hardware Authentication Device

The multi-factor authentication solution lets you use YubiKey devices to secure access to websites, cloud applications, and remote tools.  These are USB hardware authentication devices or tokens manufactured by Yubico that can generate and send unique codes for users to confirm their identity. Users can enroll and provision their own YubiKey devices through the management console, web management portal, or self-service portal.

They can also integrate their YubiKeys with Active Directory where they can store all the registration information associated with the hardware tokens. YubiKeys provide an additional factor for your MFA or password replacement solution (“something that you have”).
