PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

I love how easy it is to locate previous transactions from the history database. The billing, processing, and accepting of donations from people—a thing that we do on a daily basis—has been such a breeze. Authorize.net’s integration with external solutions such as Salesforce and FormAssembly has been going smoothly as well.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The reports from Authorize.net still leaves a lot to be desired. For one, it is not customizable so the final output often looks like a mess. Services and retail merchants get the shorter end of the stick too. Somehow, the developers have been focusing most of their time fixing the consumer view of the website—leaving the merchant view very text-heavy and difficult to navigate. I do wish that they would develop the capabilities to process payments made through international cards as well. And lastly, the invoices look very templated. Please allow us more freedom to customize this too.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We have been able to keep data inputted in this solution very secure. No more paper-trail (a process that is more prone to breach of privacy) when we can get confidential information from our volunteers safely through phone transactions. This, among other things, has really restructured our processes positively.
