PROS: Drawing in this program is the best! I’ve been able to explore the layers here—and properly organize each one too! I’ve been able to save each of my layers in different folders for easy tracking and moving around. The community of users is pretty enthusiastic about this too. They have published a lot of YouTube resources on the matter. If I were to choose a favorite tool, I’d probably choose the transformation tool—but, really, there are plenty of brush tools to choose from here.
CONS: There are some glitches in the system, for example, the lines. However, this minor issue quickly corrects itself.

PROS: I love how I can carry this app with me anywhere I go. I can easily draw/doodle at any time of the day--during my commute, while waiting for my coffee, or when I'm on my break. There's a wide range of brush tips available here too. I'm having the time of my life exploring each one of these brushes.
CONS: The prices can add up for getting more brushes. If I wanted a bigger canvas, I'd need to pay extra too.

PROS: Whenever an idea pops, Sketchbook helps me enhance my ideas into something better than what I initially had in mind. I owe much of this to the set of tools it offers, the most complete I have seen in any software so far.
CONS: Just not keen on paying to optimize the experience with tools since I'm already satisfied with what is offered for free.

PROS: Sketchbook definitely surpasses Photoshop with its wide ranging tools that are easy to use. They're intuitive even to the first-time user.
CONS: I'm really happy with everything about it but I'm just curious why they require me to make another account when I already gave them my Apple ID.

PROS: Drawing on paper is as easy as drawing on Sketchbook. Not to mention that you're given the full arsenal of resources for creativity with Sketchbook having every tool you need as an illustrator.
CONS: Hope it could expand the types of files it recognizes as it is a tedious task to convert art files into something that is workable in Sketchbook.
Perfect for an on-the-go artist like me.

PROS: I am a big fan of Sketchbook. This is a platform where I can absolutely let my creativity run loose. There is no limit to what I can draw and dream up. It offers the best blank canvas that any artist can ask for, and each stroke can be scaled to the right dimension too. What more can I ask for? I can easily zoom in on an area that I'm working on. This makes sure that the result is of the utmost accuracy. Other than the ability to properly visualize my work-in-progress, I can make headway in my tasks quickly too. This is thanks to the features included here that encourage efficiency. I have been able to produce precise drawings in no time thanks to Sketchbook.
CONS: I can't say that I'm a novice when it comes to drawing and design, but Sketchbook made me feel frustrated about these skills at the start. I had a hard time understanding and perfecting my strokes. It's not easy to import and export media files here as well. But as with anything, I got to know this program in time, and I now know its environment like the back of my hand.
A tool for artists.

PROS: Sketchbook lets me flex my creativity muscles without the use of paper. Not only is this environmentally helpful, but it also allows me to switch brush tips quite easily. I've been enjoying experimenting with various strokes.
CONS: My saved files on Sketchbook can't be imported on Adobe Photoshop. I usually have to take a screenshot and take a stab at editing it on Illustrator instead.

PROS: Photoshop and Illustrator might quickly come to mind when the words "design software" are mentioned. However, I think that the world of design is not just limited to Adobe tools. This is why I often try to evangelize designers on the perks of Sketchbook. This is best for those who have had ample training in drawing in pen and paper. If this sounds like you, then I think that Sketchbook is worth exploring. It has tools that mimic actual drawing materials. It offers templates and vectors to facilitate faster and more accurate drawings as well. This is basically like drawing on pen and paper, but only cleaner and with better scale and fit. The "French curves," in particular, are great for creating curved lines. This is like assisted drawing on a digital canvas. There's also what the program calls the "perspective grids" for cityscapes and the like.
CONS: Sketchbook's strength lies in drawing, and so I'm afraid that it lacks support in other aspects. The color grading is not at the level that I need it to be. It becomes necessary then to switch to other solutions after using the drawing board.
Perfect for the first two steps in design: drawing and conceptualizing.

PROS: I love how intuitive this program is. It helps me get the job done quickly and easily. The features included here are well thought-out too. I'm a much better artist, and with exponentially better output, thanks to its tools and tracing features. I can use it on just about any device too.
CONS: It is almost impossible for my layers to be superimposed. This is such a shame because this feature is something that I often need. There's also a lack of resources available online that would teach me more about Sketchbook.
This is every designer’s best friend.

PROS: Sketchbook mixes both play and work. I love how it gives me access to an impressive slew of tools that I can use to hone and improve my craft. I've completed quite a number of creative projects using this. Not to mention, it's accessible too. I can use this on my desktop, laptop, tablet, or even my phone.
CONS: I don't have any major issues with its functions. However, I do wish that it would give me the freedom to adjust my canvas without asking for an extra payment. It would be nice to have more brush options too.
An economical choice.

PROS: Sketchbook is a digital sketchbook--this is what it is. It is basically a tool for drawing and doodling, but without the use of a physical pen and paper. This is my drawing board. I simply hook up my drawing pad to my laptop, and I let my creativity soar. I love how much control I have when drawing here. It translates my brush stroke well, and it even has a hand stabilizer. It has made me a much better artist.
CONS: First of all, there aren't many resources and tutorials about Sketchbook yet. This is probably because not a lot of designers know about this robust tool yet. Some filters are also missing, and I find myself often switching to Adobe tools to accomplish this.
Encourages creativity.

PROS: I’m still getting to know the ins and outs of this program. So far, I’ve discovered some really great features in its toolbox. These tools are great because they work to enhance rather than overpower our creative visions and designs. I particularly like how straightforward the environment is. Everything is just within reach. The mirror tool is my favorite, so far.
CONS: It would be nice if there would be more tutorials available to users. Some users have taken it upon themselves to add how-to guides, but it would be nice if this came directly from the developers themselves.
