What are the best aspects of this product?
AWS CodeCommit is an intuitive and easy-to-use platform. It lets me work and see the changes I make in real-time. And because of its version control capability, I can easily compare elements. Whenever I need a merge, sending a pull request and the merging processes are both seamless. It is the same for others that need merges too. Furthermore, AWS CodeCommit has the capability to integrate with SNS or Lambda but creating triggers for events using either one already comes with a cost.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Despite being for large projects, AWS CodeCommit limits you to 10 triggers only. On top of that, its UI is not the best to work on.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Each time our server had issues, everything went down with it. With AWS CodeCommit, we do not have to worry about things like that because of easy cloud access. On top of that, it is highly scalable so we can push as many files as we need to it.
