PROS: Thumbs-up to Amazon for including commonly used Git tools in the platform and for integrating with AWS and third-party solutions. On top of that, it makes sure that migration from anywhere is a smooth process. The application is a fully managed service by Amazon too so there is no need for in-depth administration. Lastly, since it is Amazon, everything is secure.

CONS: There is no aspect of AWS CodeCommit that I do not like.

PROS: I like that AWS CodeCommit helps keep track of application versions. I also enjoy the automatic backup capability of the solution so I can always backtrack on my work. Everything is private but there are configurations that ease the collaboration between colleagues. There are no storage problems either because the software can scale with ease. And if there is a need for it, the solution streamlines integrations as well.

CONS: There is nothing about CodeCommit that I do not like.

PROS: If you have AWS-based projects, you will not go wrong in using AWS CodeCommit. It has a package that lets you use it for free with certain limitations so you can enjoy its high performance. It is intuitive and user-friendly so it does not feel alien to use.

CONS: If you have projects apart from AWS ones, it may be a bit of a challenge to adapt to CodeCommit. Because what will happen is you will need to shift between your familiar work process to it, causing stress and time loss. If Amazon could enhance the UI, it may solve the problem.

PROS: It has been a few years since I started using AWS CodeCommit and I am still very satisfied with it. It helps my team manage software development issues such as code mesh up and dependencies management. I can say that this software is the best solution to those problems. It is a great thing too that everyone who has the permission can access the private git repositories for fast code commit and integration. Best of all, it is scalable so we do not have problems expanding our projects

In fact, creating, editing, and updating codes is extreamel seamless. On top of it all, it is very convenient because it has an integrated Git repository that helps automate project tasks. PROS: AWS CodeCommit is an intuitive and easy-to-use platform. It lets me work and see the changes I make in real-time. And because of its version control capability, I can easily compare elements. Whenever I need a merge, sending a pull request and the merging processes are both seamless. It is the same for others that need merges too. Furthermore, AWS CodeCommit has the capability to integrate with SNS or Lambda but creating triggers for events using either one already comes with a cost.

CONS: Despite being for large projects, AWS CodeCommit limits you to 10 triggers only. On top of that, its UI is not the best to work on.

My team utilizes it for merging and integrating our code with the application we work on and we do so seamlessly. It does not have the issues that we used to encounter with a product that we employed previously. Everything is done quickly and smoothly. It is also a great move from Amazon to include Git tools because they add to the security and privacy of the platform. What's more, they help scale the code base.
