What are the best aspects of this product?
I love the clean user interface that is simple to navigate. The iOS app is the same. Other CRMs look complicated and confusing and are difficult to use which affects adoption. But no setup was needed for Base CRM. We paid the subscription and started using the system and there was no learning curve. The email tracking and executive reporting features are top notch.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The major drawback is there is little automation. I cannot implement a followup scheme for my team so I don’t know if our sales reps are following the mandated procedures. This means I have to spend a lot of time manually looking through sales reps’ data to ensure everybody is following instructions. Some other CRMs help you to create workflows, prompts and detailed work plans for each day. This is a strong process that removes subjectivity and tells sales reps what tasks to do every day.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
With Base CRM, we know the position of deals in the pipeline and I can monitor my team’s work when away from the office. Base helps us to closely monitor prospects and working deals. My team members were easily able to use the software which says a lot about the system.
