What are the best aspects of this product?
There are many features I love such as the simple user interface and easy linking of my email. The app is easy to customize. I appreciate the keyword tagging feature and the app asks you why you lost a deal. These are important features as they help you track the area that is giving you deals so that you can focus more on this lead generation area. For example, if you get a lot of leads from a specific networking group you can focus more effort on them. If you are not getting much leads from them, you can re-consider spending your valuable time on them.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Many CRM systems lack integration with LinkedIn. I would like to make full use of my LinkedIn account. But they have limited access to the API which means they cannot integrate with many CRM apps.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Base offers me the following essential features I need: A single place to store info and email on contacts. A pipeline view that informs me about the value of the deals I am working on. Plus, it helps me track a deal through all stages from prospect to closed (won or lost). Base is top class in providing me all these features.
