What are the best aspects of this product?
I love that though Base CRM is a simple tool it also offers robust features that are continually improved. I can easily add features, users, and fields. I can log activities, make calls from the application, and record them for management and training purposes. Finally, the mobile app helps me be productive on the go.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I would like to see the following improvements: A duplicate field is created when importing and merging data. A true merge should be allowed that creates only one field. Second, I would like to change a field type after creating it. For example, if I erroneously label a numeric field as text, I should be able to change it later. The reporting feature is robust, but it should be easier to customize it. I also want to know the criteria that is used to create standard reports. When I am in a company/contact, I would like to see the title and other details of employees so that I can decide whether I need to click through to contact them. These are minor changes I would like added to an otherwise top class application.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I am a sales team leader and I use Base CRM to understand the activities that my team members do every day. The app also gives me details about their prospects. I have all this info readily available any time which helps me to effectively manage my team. Base CRM also provides better and accurate visibility into our prospects and pipeline.
