What are the best aspects of this product?

Box has all the features that you may need in a storage and collaborative tool. File sharing has been made reliable as you not only can use it to share files internally but also externally with customers and clients. It saves files automatically in the system as soon as you create them. This means that you do not have to do it manually. It syncs well with all of your devices as long as they are connected to the system. It integrates well with other third party applications such that, you can upload a file or document from other applications or sites with ease. It has a mobile application which implies that you can save, share and edit files on the move.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Even a great tool will have its limitations when it comes to functionality. Box is no exception when it comes to those limitations. Luckily, they are things you can deal with as the tool offers reliable services for companies and individuals to share and store file. Although it has a task manager, it is not that intuitive. It does not offer workflow capabilities and thus not that reliable. It would be better if the developers of the tool in their next upgrade to include workflow capabilities on the task manager aspect of Box. The user permission capability is selective and offers subjective ways through which you can control who accesses you files and documents.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It is rare to find storage and file sharing tool that complements the need of your business in full. Box has done it for us when it comes to sharing of files. We are able to share company files within and externally without having to worry about it. It has made it possible for us to work effectively since we are able to communicate with our clients and staff well. We can organize files within the system and apply user permissions on the files we want to share with collaborators. Also, Box acts as our backend management system for our IT applications. This has come in handy to help us perform better and thus deliver according to promise.
