Syncs well with Office Suite

What are the best aspects of this product?

It is a great tool for my business. I am able to add who should access what file and keep the rest out. It offers an attractive user interface where the design is neat and clean which gives you a perfect view. It also syncs well with other applications to help you make the best use of its functionalities. For example, it integrates well with Office Suite which is a plus on my part whenever I want to create and upload a document in Box. This means that as soon as I create a document it can be automatically saved in the system which is great.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It lacks some critical functionality that you would find in applications such as Google Drive. For example, it does not offer real time editing for all the collaborators which is a crucial thing to have. This means that you can edit a file in real time while it is updated automatically with other collaborators to see. With Google Drive, this capability is available which makes me prefer the latter instead of Box. It would be nice if the live edit capability was introduced to make this tool complete and competitive with other similar tools. Apart from that, the task and notes function are not that intuitive which makes them difficult to use.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It has allowed us to be better in what we do. We manage multiple projects where, a great file storage and sharing system will be key to the success of any project. Since we deal with multiple files and documents and thus the need to share them with project team members, Box has come out big to help us achieve that. You can store files such as photos, documents and file on an online platform and access them regardless of where you are. You can even access them when offline which adds to the convenience. It integrates with Microsoft programs which makes it easy for you to manage any project that is related to Microsoft Office.
