What are the best aspects of this product?

As a services provider, I like how Braintree allows me to accept more credit card options. In comparison to other payment processors (such as authorize.net), this solution is more affordable too. After scouting around the market, I’ve discovered that Braintree has more promos offered. A lot of its features are free as well—from the use of its online platform and its gateway.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

One has to be familiar with writing API scripts to be able to fully utilize the shopping carts. This isn’t too much trouble for me, but other users might not have the same training as I do. They have an added layer of protection too when you purchase in bulk—a feature that can swing between being a benefit and a hassle at the same time.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Tracking and keeping a record of my purchases has been so much easier with Braintree. I’ve also been able to take advantage of multiple credit card fee deals.
