The biggest functionality with Brandwatch is being able to have your data filtered in so many ways. As a user, you have the power, thanks to its filtering process. It helps you land accurate conversations worth looking into. Such functionality lifts any restrictions that platforms will limit you to in terms of splitting data.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Right now, details on geographical audience isn't fully precise. Brandwatch does have the tools and vision in monitoring social media. I'm hoping these will be looked into when newer technology comes out.

Working for a marketing agency, I've been using Brandwatch in seeking relevant conversations of my clients' audience. These topics would include trends in the industry, services, and products. With Twitter being that source of info, Brandwatch lets us listen closer to our audience. We get to learn what pains them most without having to diving blind into endless mentions.
