BrightEdge Review

PROS: I have a personal representative from BrightEdge and she has been integral in how we understand SEO. She accommodates our queries with the essential information and, in turn, been always helping us in making our decisions.

CONS: I get the value of my buck in this application, but it would be nice to have it at a cheaper price.

PROS: BrightEdge has been instrumental in how I create and plan content and measure its performance. For being an SEO for over five years, their dashboard, data cube, and Content IQ are my best friends. These tools help me in looking at other websites, comparing site performances, reporting, and creating and managing content.

CONS: Homescreen data points and page suggestions are a bit off for me. I usually don't look at them anymore because it gives me automated data and unusable information.

PROS: What I really liked best in this application is Data Cube. It is an easy platform to use in in-depth research analysis and gap analysis. Plus, customer service was very helpful.

CONS: UI can be improved. It can be a bit hard to navigate it when you're a first time user. But when you get the hang of it, it gets easier. The customer service is helpful in this area.

PROS: I have been a customer for a long time and I find the dashboard instrumental in seeing how well we perform. Plus, their customer service is really knowledgeable.

CONS: I don't have any criticism to say on this app.

PROS: UI is beginner-friendly enough to start immediately on working on SEO, however, it is also very complex that I always see discover new features when I roam about the application. To properly utilize the application it is important to ask assistance to customer service. They are accomodating and helpful in walking me through the features.

CONS: The application is complex. It seems that contacting customer service is required to navigate it effectively.

PROS: BrightEdge gives proper insights on boosting content by providing suggestions on what keywords to use, data analysis on content performance, what new market we can target to expand our influence, what type and style of content to use, and many more. The StoryBuilder is a favorite here because it provides reports that are easy to read and analyze and it provides caution on potential issues.

CONS: Although I find the app easy to use, I think the UI can still be improved. In rare cases it's confusing.

PROS: Monitoring the market and SEO performance has never been this easy! I like how it helps me create strategies and opportunities.

CONS: I just hope that it can provide knowledge on trending topics.

PROS: In the past we are always overwhelmed on how to manage data, distributing it to only the SEO experts of our company. With BrightEdge, we get to understand and be knowledgeable about SEO more and how to use it to further the reach of our business. Now, we distribute the workload to more employees and our SEO experts can now focus on developing strategies, content, and keywords.

CONS: The setup took longer than expected but the fault may be on our end. I hope the app gets cheaper.

PROS: The unparalleled ability to show dashboards indicating essential SEO data, makes data sharing for stakeholders simpler and powerful.

CONS: Their task management system needs a lot work of work.

PROS: BrightEdge lets you look into data history, depth insights, and seek newer SEO opportunities while viewing performance at keyword and page level. I like the fact that it can be integrated with multiple analytics platforms.

CONS: While it does a good job comparing competitors, I often had to include another competitor and compare it to the two that I have in the system --- since I don't want to be charged for making another competitive group. Switching views within keyword reports to avoid time frame adjustments for older data needs to be fixed.

PROS: BrightEdge is an SEO tool that offers a plethora of features to create a good SEO campaign. Its reporting features are detailed and makes it an above-average medium for decks and reporting. Aside from the given software, BrightEdge has a good support team who are constantly on every company account.

CONS: BrightEdge can be a doubled-edged sword. While their tools are great, they can be ovewhelming. Educational content constantly have gaps and suffer from quality and consistency. The software runs slow in terms of loading up a page and extracting a report. Speed is one of their weaknesses.

PROS: What I like about BrightEdge is their recommendations, tasks, and page and keyword reporting. Doing segment keyword keywords in groups deploying landing pages, getting page optimzation recommendations, and tracking deployed recommendations is pure sweetness.

CONS: It appears their StoryBuilder has restrictions. For instance, you're only limited to tracking 5 goals from Google Analytics simultaneously while the traditional Analytics can handle as much as 20 goals. Reporting time frames are flimsy since BrightEdge will have you report in full weeks, despite utilzing different date ranges.

PROS: I consider this platform is as the best all-aroud SEOL solution for today's agencies. It may not be perfect, but it does an incredible job putting data together from different sources and laying it all out to showcase an actual view. This includes everything from keywords to site KPIs.

CONS: The downside with SEOs is that you don't get to see how keywords perform daily.

PROS: The functionality offered by Data Cube is simply the best. It answered a lot of questions from the higher executive level. Their tools are intuitive and intelligent. Keeping track of keywords week after week is a big help in discovering issues.

CONS: Despite the advantages, it didn't help me much in terms of efficiency. I still need to manipulata data on my own just to achieve an advanced SEO insight.
