What are the best aspects of this product?
One of my responsibilities as a specialist is to make sure that the office that we are renting is in tiptop shape. Whenever I notice an issue, I love how I can quickly reach out to Building Engines to file for incident cases. Whenever I course any complaints through this platform, I rest easy in the knowledge that my issues will be addressed. For example, I’ve recently filed an issue of pest infestation in the office. Building Engines was able to quickly pass this information on to the building owners—it is reliable.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Sometimes they leave you to wonder whether a filed ticket has gone through. I do hope that they would add it in their work process to reply and give updates to those who have filed tickets. It becomes a guessing-game now as to when their tech support or a worker of theirs would make an appearance. Sometimes it takes 2 days, others 3—there’s really no standard response time.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
First of all, we manage various properties in our area. One of our commitments to our renters is that we will always respond to their needs as it arises. Through Building Engines, we’ve been able to do this successfully. It’s great that it’s a tech-based platform too. Our renters no longer have to go through the manual process of calling us or dropping by our office to file their complaint. Everything is done online, which is convenient.
