What are the best aspects of this product?

Every day I am on my PC doing something constructive. It is good to keep your data safe, whether relevant or not. In most situations I find myself deleting data or files that I do not need and in the process I may delete relevant files. Such a mistake is taken care of when you have Carbonite by your side. It helps to automate the backup process in your PC or computer. Any data on your PC is updated without you getting involved personally as it is an automated backup process. With such a system, I am able to recover data regardless of whether my PC is working or not.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The backup feature is great as it protects my files in the case of any disaster or malfunction of my PC. When such a disaster occurs I can use a different platform to get the files that I want. On the downside, it can be very slow when backing up data. I am impatient and thus the backup process is not one of my best moments due to the time it takes to complete the process. Apart from that, the product tends to backup even the files that I do not need. This is a waste of space and time on my part.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I work as a photographer and with consistent shoots that I take I need a reliable backup for my photos, just in case of anything. Carbonite has managed to help me get a peace of mind as I can trust it to backup those photos in real time. I do not have to worry about my photos getting lost of destroyed if the main storage is destroyed. It helps me to recover those photos regardless of whether the storage is working or not thanks to Carbonite. I can now establish multiple locations where I can back up the data that I need to keep my operations and work running smoothly.
