What are the best aspects of this product?

It is a simple to use and retrieve data. The product has a backup feature, which allows you to back up all your data into the system and retrieve it whenever a need arises. Apart from that, you can do this at great speed which adds to the efficiency. It is both web based and also you can download the application and install it in your system. Whichever the case, you will get the same user experience which is simple. Due to its simple user interface, you do not have to spend a lot of time learning how to get around the features. This means that even new users can get up to speed in no time.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It is all great but I have problems with how the auto-updater functions. It does not necessarily automatically update itself. You have to restart it manually to ensure that all data is backed up. This has become a problem on my part as IT users depend on IT resolution to function properly. With the default in the auto-updater, we have problems when it comes to backing up data in our system. It would be better if we did not have to manually restart the updater as this would keep our operations running smoothly. Despite this, we have had a great experience with this tool as it delivers as promised.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It has become an all-round storage and backup solution for our business. Previously, we had to store and backup data in an external drive or tape drives, which was not secure and also took more time for our IT users. Luckily, with the Carbonite tool, we can achieve what we thought was not achievable. It is able to backup data within a short time and due to its simple interface our users can get the best out of this product. It is reliable and a cost saving means of storage and backup of data in our business. We are now able to make our processes simple and guarantee security of our data.
